A mashkupimatsit Awash

Inspired from SIPPE (Services Intégrés de Perinatalité en Petite Enfance), a program available in all other regions of Quebec, A mashkupimatsit Awash (AMA) is program that integrates all services and programs needed for the health and social care of the pregnant mother and young children. Although the SIPPE program only covers certain groups that answer to some set criteria (No secondary diploma, under 21 years old, and low revenue), the AMA program offers universal care in all the communities of Eeyou Itschee.
